He had previously bowled 24 wicketless overs in first-class cricket but he may now put in some extra work in the nets.”To be honest I was quite nervous before I bowled, I wasn’t really expecting it,” he said. “I was just glad the first one landed and then after that I had a little bit of confidence and I bowled six balls, probably a bit slow, but I might get a few more overs in the nets and we’ll see where we go from there.”It is quite tough as a part time wrist spinner, it is difficult and although I bowled a lot in the nets a Yorkshire I never had the chance to bowl in a game.”Every captain does want that that extra option and maybe as a wrist spinner there might be an opportunity on a flat wicket where the game is going nowhere. Maybe I need to work on it a bit harder, but at the moment it is about concentrating on the batting and getting big scores.”Anyone who is able to offer Cook another viable option to give his quick bowlers a break should be encouraged to take his chance seriously.

O duelo

A Ponte Preta começou o jogo a todo vapor. Com apenas cinco minutos, a Macaca já vencia por 2 a 0. O primeiro gol veio com chute forte de Camilo, que o goleiro Glauco aceitou. Pouco depois, Arnaldo fez a jogada e Matheus Vargas completou o cruzamento para o fundo da rede.

A vantagem deixou o time da casa tranquilo em campo e o Oeste cresceu. Aos poucos, os visitantes ganhavam o meio-campo e dava trabalho ao goleiro Ivan.

Na casa dos 26 minutos o Oeste descontou. Em bela cobrança de falta, Elvis acertou o ângulo e balançou a rede.

Nos minutos finais da etapa inicial, o atacante Roger aproveitou o rebote do goleiro em chute de Camilo e mandou para o fundo da rede, 3 a 1.

No segundo tempo o ritmo do confronto caiu drasticamente. Sem empolgar no ataque, a Ponte deu bobeira na defesa e a lei do ex apareceu. Mazinho levantou na grande área e Cléber Reis, sozinho, cabeceou para diminuir prejuízo, 3 a 2.

O gol marcado empolgou o Oeste, mas o time de Barueri não conseguia envolver a Ponte, que por muito pouco não ampliou. Roger foi lançado na grande área e bateu cruzado. Bem colocado, Glauco caiu e defendeu.

Nos minutos finais, a Macaca segurou o jogo de maneira inteligente e a torcida pôde comemora mais três pontos importantes.

While Trott set a T20 record aggregate for the most runs in a 10-match qualifying campaign in 2009, he has played very few games in the format since 2010. And while Warwickshire’s director of cricket, Dougie Brown, feels that Trott’s form is returning to somewhere near its best, he felt the shortest format of the game had moved on since the last time he played.”Trotty hasn’t played a lot of T20 cricket over the last five or six years,” Brown said. “And when he did play it was a dramatically different game.”His game is more suited to 50-over and four-day cricket, going towards ODI and Test cricket. Whether he would feature in a T20 side for England I would probably doubt, but clearly he has vast experience in all formats of the game but you can only pick XI and you’ve got to make that call.”Trott actually made his international debut in T20 cricket in 2007. But having played just one T20 match in 2011, he did not play again until June of this year when he was in the early days of his return from a stress-related illness. He struggled for fluency in the two matches he played – including a 38-ball innings of 39 against Worcestershire – and has since been restricted to List A and first-class cricket.Trott has scored three centuries – two in the Royal London Cup and one in the County Championship – since July 21 but, despite Warwickshire lacking one of their overseas players – Shoaib Malik – and reflecting on the news that their club captain, Jim Troughton, has been forced to retire with a back injury, Trott still missed out to younger men such as Scotland’s Freddie Coleman and 22-year-old Jonathon Webb.”T20 is a very skilful game,” Brown explained. “I’m not saying he’s not an extremely skilful player. But if you’re looking at having players who play 360 degrees – the likes of Laurie Evans and the new breed like Coleman and Webb, who can play all sorts of different, inventive shots – is that Trotty?”I think he’s happy playing four-day and 50-over cricket. He’s a great player. A proper player. He’s a world-class player when he’s at his best and I reckon he’s getting back to somewhere close to that.”Bell, meanwhile, has not represented Warwickshire in this format since 2010, and accepts he lacks match-practise in T20 cricket. But he is relishing the opportunity to represent the side he supported as a boy at Finals Day on his home ground.”It’s not always easy for us England players to come back and take the place of people who have been doing well for the club,” Bell admitted. “But we’re desperate to play as much as we can for Warwickshire.”Days like this are great. They are the ones you remember when you finish playing and the ones you want to be part of.”As an England player, you hardly get the chance to play T20. And if you don’t get picked by England in T20, you don’t play for anyone. I went through a period when I just didn’t play any. You need to play T20 regularly to know where you are and your game-plan.”At the start of the season, when it was announced the games would be on Friday nights, I thought I’d play more. But I’ve probably played less. It’s been hard to do.”Warwickshire also welcome back fast bowler Boyd Rankin from a hamstring injury, but are without Keith Barker, who has an elbow injury but is expected to play the next Championship game, and Chris Wright, who has a stress fracture and will not play again this season.

O volante afirma que pra ele pouco importa aonde jogue, o importante é estar ajudando o CSA.

– Eu sempre falo que eu estou aqui para ajudar ao CSA. Independente se for de volante ou lateral. Já havia jogado como lateral em outras oportunidades. O mais importante é sairmos dessa situação e só nós jogadores e comissão é que podemos tirar o clube dessa situação. Temos que continuar empenhados e focados no nosso objetivo, e confio que vamos conseguir subir na tabela.

كشف حازم فتوح وكيل المدرب الفرنسي باتريس كارتيرون المدير الفني السابق لفريق نادي الزمالك، حقيقة تواصل مسؤولي القلعة البيضاء من أجل عودته لتولي المهمة الفنية للفريق.

وكان كارتيرون قد درب فريق الكرة الأول بنادي الزمالك في فترتين، نجح خلالهما في الفوز ببطولات الدوري المصري موسم 20-21، والسوبر المصري لعام 2019، والسوبر الإفريقي عام 2020.

وقال حازم فتوح في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “النهار” عبر برنامج “بلس 90”: “لم يتواصل معي أحد من مسؤولي الزمالك الحاليين أو أحد المرشحين لانتخابات النادي من أجل التعاقد مع كارتيرون”.

وأضاف: “باتريس كارتيرون مرتبط حاليًا بعقد مع نادي قطري لمدة سنتين ويقدم نتائج جيدة”.

وأردف: “كارتيرون مدرب كبير وطبيعي أن يكون أسمه مطروحًا في أي فترة تشهد تغيير المدير الفني”.

وتابع: “قبل تولي كارتيرون المهمة الفنية للفريق القطري كان يوجد جس نبض من أحد الأندية الصاعدة للدوري الممتاز”.

الجدير بالذكر، أن باتريس كارتيرون قد تولى مهمة فريق أم صلال القطري مطلع شهر يوليو الماضي.

ويحتل فريق أم صلال المركز السادس في سلم ترتيب الدوري القطري، برصيد 8 نقاط، حصدهم من 5 مباريات، إذ فاز في مباراتين وتعادل مثلهما وخسر في واحدة.

The match had begun in overcast conditions. Lahore Lions’ bowlers were not able to enlist their help and conceded 170 and their batsmen became helpless witnesses to what could have happened. Tim Southee and Trent Boult had the ball zipping around to have Lions 19 for 5. The rest was simply a blur of pink as Northern Knights hurtled to a crushing 72-run victory.Daniel Flynn, their captain, knew he had a new-ball attack that could dissect Test sides and his half-century coupled with BJ Watling’s provided what ended up being a giant run-rate boost that primes them to make the main draw.Their only roadblock on the day was Saad Nasim, who willed Lions towards some sense of dignity with a fifty of his own. He was the only Lahore batsman to reach double-figures, while his team was all out for 98, the tenth-lowest total in CLT20.The slide began with a menacing yorker from Southee, one that swung in late, sneaked under Nasir Jamshed’s plod and toppled his stumps. Boult ensured he wasn’t left behind by setting up the other opener Ahmed Shehzad. Doubts were sowed when an inswinger had the batsman playing around his pads. The next ball was angled across, Shehzad’s muddled footwork and feeble prod was safely pouched by the keeper. Flynn was dropped on 26 and Watling got a life on 46 – and both of them were the reason Knights clattered 52 runs in the final five overs. The bowling looked a far cry from what Mumbai Indians had to face on Saturday night. Hafeez had been asked at the toss if the short turnaround from their match with Mumbai Indians might have an adverse effect. He had dead batted it, but judging by the events that transpired, there might have been a knock-on effect.Akmal messed up a stumping in the second over and shelled a regulation catch in the 17th. Nasir Jamshed lost control of a catch, could not rein it in on the rebound and failed to realise a run-out opportunity all off the same ball. Adnan Rasool misjudged a chance at deep square leg and the ball lobbed over his head for a four. While Flynn employed desperate dives multiple times to safeguard his wicket, Rasool was caught napping by a direct hit from Flynn himself and Nasim too wandered thoughtlessly out of his crease to be run-out by the bowler to give the Lions chase a fitting end.

An unbeaten century by Manoj Tiwary and a rapid-fire fifty from Laxmi Shukla led East Zone to a total of 278 on the first day of their quarterfinal against West Zone. Asked to bat first at the Bansi Lal Stadium in Lahli, one of Indian cricket’s most seamer-friendly venues, East Zone were bowled out in 75 overs, with Dhawal Kulkarni picking up three wickets. In reply, West Zone were 10 for no loss at close of play.East Zone lost Rameez Nemat in the third over of the morning, before Natraj Behera and Sudip Chatterjee steadied their innings with a second-wicket stand of 54 in 24 overs. Both fell to the offspinner Yusuf Pathan in the space of 35 balls, and East quickly lost Saurabh Tiwary and Wriddhiman Saha as well.Having come together at 116 for 5, Manoj, the East Zone captain, and Shukla went after the bowling, and added 69 runs in just 50 balls. Shukla dominated the partnership, scoring 54 off 31 balls, before the allrounder Shrikant Mundhe had him lbw.Manoj combined with the lower order to extend East Zone score by a further 93 runs, the bulk of them coming in a 63-run partnership with Rana Dutta for the eighth wicket. When East Zone lost their final wicket, Manoj was left unbeaten on 100, having faced 140 balls and struck four fours and six sixes. He had been dropped at 72 by Yusuf at cover, off the bowling of the left-arm spinner Akshay Darekar.

Dudu é artilheiro do clube no século XXI e o maior goleador palmeirense nos pontos corridos. No Allianz Parque, detém todos os recordes: mais jogos (116), mais vitórias (83), mais gols (31) e mais assistências (30). Ele já levantou três taças na arena: além das duas do Brasileiro, a da Copa do Brasil de 2015, quando fez os dois gols na final sobre o Santos.

Em 2019, ainda que tenha tido altos e baixos, é o vice-artilheiro do Palmeiras com oito gols, o líder em passes para gol (12) e quem mais atuou (40 partidas). Ele será o entrevistado na Academia de Futebol desta quarta-feira, às 14h.
