Jacques Kallis has committed to playing ODIs for South Africa on a more regular basis, as he looks to stay in the team’s plans in the build-up to the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The coach Russell Domingo hopes to have Kallis back for the home ODIs against India later in the year, but cautioned that his workload will still be monitored, given his recent history with injuries.”Playing for my country has always been both a huge honour and a privilege,” Kallis said after meeting Domingo on Tuesday morning. “It remains my aspiration to be available for the 2015 World Cup but, at the same time I know as an allrounder approaching my 38th birthday, I will need to assess my future in the game season by season.”At the moment I am feeling mentally and physically refreshed and I am looking forward to carry on playing for my country as long as possible.”Kallis, 37, hasn’t played an ODI since February 2012 and Domingo’s predecessor Gary Kirsten had deemed it “no longer necessary” for him to figure in bilateral series because he was too important to South Africa’s Test ambitions. وتلعب البرازيل بطولة كوبا أمريكا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في الفترة من 20 يونيو إلى 14 يوليو من عام 2024.

وينتهي عقد أنشيلوتي مع ريال مدريد فريقه الحالي في 30 يونيو 2024، وكان المدرب الإيطالي دائم التأكيد على أنه لن يرحل عن صفوف الملكي إلا بعد نهاية عقده أو إقالته من طرف الإدارة.

وتحدث رودريجيز عن الأمر في تصريحات بمؤتمره الصحفي الذي عُقد في الساعات القليلة الماضية في مقر الاتحاد البرازيلي لكرة القدم، وقال: “فرناندو دينيز مدرب فلومينينزي ستكون لديه مهمتين في الـ12 شهرًا المقبلين”.

وتابع: “سيدرب دينيز ناديه فلومينينزي وأيضًا منتخب البرازيل دون أي مشكلة وبتفاني وإخلاص كما كان دائمًا لمدة عام”.

Isso porque nas últimas cinco rodadas do estadual o Santos venceu apenas duas vezes, enquanto o Red Bull teve quatro vitórias e um empate, ou seja, a vantagem que era de quatro pontos foi caindo rodada a rodada, até que as posições foram invertidas e o time campineiro abriu um ponto de distância.

O aproveitamento de 83,3% (5 vitórias e 1 derrota) na primeira metade da competição foi muito superior ao de 53,3% (2 vitórias, 2 empates e 1 derrota) na segunda metade, o que provocou queda no aproveitamento geral, que hoje é de 69,7% dos pontos que disputou. A média de gols também caiu de 2,17 nos primeiros seis jogos do torneio, para 1,2 nos últimos cinco, sequência na qual estão as únicas três partidas em que os santistas saíram de campo sem balançar a rede no campeonato.

Para completar, além de vencer o Botafogo-SP, o Peixe terá de torcer para que o Red Bull não vença o Guarani, já sem chances de classificação e que acabou de demitir o técnico Osmar Loss, em resumo, Sampaoli e seus comandados não dependem só deles para atingirem o primeiro objetivo da semana.

Mas não é só no Paulistão que os resultados ruins têm assombrado a equipe da Baixada. Nesse período de queda também está a eliminação para o River-URU após dois empates na Sul-Americana. Sendo assim, nos últimos oito jogos são apenas três vitórias (Guarani, Oeste e América-RN), quatro empates (River-URU, Palmeiras, River-URU e Corinthians) e uma derrota (Novorizontino).

O aproveitamento geral que era de mais de 85% (6 vitórias e 1 derrota) nos primeiros sete jogos da temporada, foi de 54% nos últimos oito. Sem contar o fato de o time ter terminado metade das partidas dessa sequência sem marcar gols (River-URU, Palmeiras, Corinthians e Novorizontino), algo que ainda não havia acontecido em 2019. Para Luiz Felipe, a explicação pode ser o conhecimento dos adversários sobre a estratégia santista.

– Acho que agora não tem mais como esconder nada, todas as equipes já jogaram muitos jogos, a gente já variou bastante nosso estilo de jogo, com três zagueiros, com uma linha de quatro, com três volantes, com dois, com um. Agora é a gente procurar fazer com que o adversário sofra, a gente sabem que eles vão monitorar, vão ver as nossas dificuldades para aproveitar isso e a gente tem que fazer o mesmo – declarou o zagueiro na última sexta-feira.

O Santos volta a campo na próxima quarta-feira, às 21h30, para enfrentar o Botafogo-SP, pela última rodada da primeira fase do Paulistão-2019. Já classificado para as quartas de final, o Peixe é o vice-líder o Grupo A.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إسبانية، عن إشارة من باريس سان جيرمان، بأن اللاعب الفرنسي كيليان مبابي ليس ضمن خطط الفريق في الموسم المقبل 2023/2024.

كيليان مبابي يتصدر عناوين الصحف كل صيف، حول الرحيل عن نادي باريس سان جيرمان، وارتباطه بـ ريال مدريد، منذ أن انضم في صيف 2017 قادمًا من موناكو.

هذا الصيف، الأمور تزداد تعقيدًا، بعدما رفض اللاعب الفرنسي تمديد عقده حتى 2025، وأكد أنه سيستمر حتى نهاية العقد الحالي 2024، وسط ارتباطه بالانتقال إلى ريال مدريد الإسباني أيضًا.

Mushtaq Ahmed, the England spin-bowling coach, has said he has been sharing tips on the art of reverse swing with England’s fast bowlers. Mushtaq is a former team-mate of two of the foremost exponents of reverse swing, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.”Regardless of my coaching, they [England’s bowlers] are doing extensive work in the nets [on mastering reverse swing],” Mushtaq told reporters in Lahore last week. “They have realised that apart from the gym work, developing skills is equally important. They do discuss all the factors of reverse swing, but credit must be given to them for attaining it. The most inspiring thing is they [practice] in the nets, otherwise bowlers these days don’t work on their variations. They just wait for the ball to get old.”I have experience with the likes of Wasim and Waqar. Both were the best in the business, so I am sharing my past experiences with them. They [England bowlers] do discuss the angles, the importance of using the crease, and a lot of other minor factors that could help. I am happy that things are being applied, and that they are getting results out of it.”Mushtaq, 43, is currently with England on a consultancy basis. In the 1990s, he was one of the key members in Pakistan’s bowling line-up, along with Wasim and Waqar. While elaborating on how to maintain the ball, Mushtaq said it’s all about taking care of the shiny side.Pakistan has faced accusations of ball tampering from the English press since the early ’90s, though no formal evidence was ever found. Both Wasim and Waqar were able to obtain prodigious movement with the old ball, a phenomenon which was later termed reverse swing.”In my time, I used to take care of the ball, and I had to keep it in the best shape so that the utility of the ball did not go off,” Mushtaq said. “They asked me to keep one side of the ball dry, and not let it [get] wet by any means – which is a very important part. The more you look after the ball, the better the result you will attain. Players these days throw the ball with one bounce on the pitches to get the ball rough, but maintaining it thereafter is a skill.”
