يستعد نادي أوكلاند سيتي للمشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2022 في المغرب للمرة العاشرة في تاريخه بعد غياب دام 6 سنوات منذ آخر مشاركاته عام 2017.

سيلتقي الأهلي وأوكلاند سيتي في الدور التمهيدي لمونديال الأندية يوم، 1 فبراير المقبل، وهذه ستكون المباراة الثانية بين الطرفين بعد نسخة 2006 في اليابان والتي فاز المارد الأحمر بها بهدفين نظيفين في ربع النهائي.

سيعود أوكلاند سيتي للمشاركة في كأس العالم للأندية بعد الاعتذار عن المشاركة في عام 2020 والتي أقيمت في قطر بسبب قيود السفر في قارة أوقيانوسيا عقب انتشار فيروس كورونا.

تواصل “btolat.com” مع المتحدث الرسمي لنادي أوكلاند سيتي، جوردون واتسون، للحديث عن استعدادات الفريق لمواجهة الأهلي في الحوار التالي…

أعلم أنكم تسعدون لتلك البطولة من خلال معسكر في إسبانيا، ما هو المركز الذي تطمحون للوصول إليه في تلك النسخة بعد الغياب الطويل؟

– “نحن نستهدف من خلال هذا المعسكر ولمدة 10 أيام أن يعود اللاعبون إلى لياقتهم البدنية، قبل أول مباراة أمام الأهلي في كأس العالم للأندية”.

“الأمر صعب، لأننا لم نتدرب منذ 4 ديسمبر الماضي بعد انتهاء الدوري في نيوزيلاندا، سنكون هناك يوم 17 يناير بعد معسكرنا الحالي في نيوزيلاندا والذي بدأ في 4 يناير، لذلك نحاول أن نستفيد من هذا المعسكر للتغلب على العقبات التي تواجهنا لتجهيز اللاعبين في الموعد المناسب”.

لقد حصل أوكلاند سيتي على البرونزية في المغرب عام 2014، كان أفضل مركز لكم، هل تشعرون بالتفاؤل للعودة مرة أخرى إلى المغرب؟

– “اعتقد أن كل مباراة في كأس العالم للأندية تكون تحديًا فريدًا بالفعل، علينا ألا نفكر في الماضي كثيرًا، يجب أن نركز على أسلوبنا في كل مباراة على حدة حتى نصل إلى أهدافنا من خلال الفوز لنكون على الطريق الصحيح ولكن لن يفيدنا العيش في الماضي رغم أهمية ما حققناه فيه”.

هل ستكون مباراة الأهلي انتقامية بالنسبة لكم، هذه هي المرة الأولى التي تتقابلان فيها بعد عام 2006 والهزيمة 2-0؟

– “كما قلت لك في السابق، نحن لا نفكر في الماضي، لا نفكر بتلك الطريقة، أوكلاند سيتي يحترم ويقدر تاريخ الأهلي، شعبية الفريق وجماهيره الاستثنائية”.

“لقد كانت مباراة 2006 هي الأولى بالنسبة لنا في كأس العالم للأندية، ودلتنا عما نحتاجه من أجل المشاركة في مثل هذه البطولة المهمة، لقد ساعدتنا في التطور خلال الفترة من 2006 حتى 2014 عندما حصلنا على البرونزية، لذلك نحن ممتنين لتلك المباراة ولكن مواجهتنا المقبلة مختلفة تمامًا، علينا التركيز على الحاضر والنتائج المنتظرة”.

“ربما يكون الأهلي هو المرشح للفوز، نحن ليس لدينا ما نخسره ولكن إذا خسر الأهلي المباراة الافتتاحية ستكون كارثة، أنا متأكد، هذا هو الفارق بين الناديين لذلك أتوقع مباراة مفتوحة”.

لديكم لاعب يعرف الأهلي جيدًا وهو إيماليانو تادي، لقد سبق ولعب مع صن داونز ويعرف منافسكم القادم بالفعل؟ هل هو سلاح قوي للكشف عن أسرار وصيف قارة إفريقيا؟

– “لقد تحدثت بالفعل بالأمس مع تادي عن الأهلي، فهو يعرف الفريق جيدًا من خلال بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا، لاعب لديه خبرة كبيرة وبالطبع يفيدنا بتلك المباراة، لقد فعل ذلك معنا من قبل في كأس العالم أمام المغرب التيطواني وكذلك وفاق سطيف والترجي”.

“لكننا نلعب بأسلوب جماعي وليس فرديًا لنعتمد على لاعب واحد، علينا أن نعمل بقوة من أجل هذه المباراة ونركز على أنفسنا حتى يأتي الأول من فبراير”.

ماذا تعرفون عن فريق الأهلي الحالي، فهو يتصدر الدوري المصري وهناك بعض الصفقات الجديدة التي جاءت بالفعل في الأيام الماضية؟

– “المدرب ألبرت ريرا يعمل مع طاقمه الفني على مشاهدة مباريات الأهلي وتحليل أداءه، نعلم جيدًا ما يقوم به هذا الفريق في الدوري المصري والمدير الفني يعلم مدى صعوبة المباراة”.

“هناك تاريخ كبير للأهلي فهو تأسس في عام 1907، لديه العديد من الألقاب ولم يخسر أي مباراة في الدوري المصري، لذلك فهو تحدٍ كبير، ورئيس أوكلاند سيتي وصف هذا النادي كواحد من أفضل الأندية في العالم، خاصة في كأس العالم للأندية وحصل على الميدالية البرونزية 3 مرات وكان لديه لاعبين مميزين مثل محمد أبو تريكة، لذلك نحن نحترم الأهلي والكرة المصرية كثيرًا لأنها أخرجت لنا لاعب مثل محمد صلاح في السنوات الماضية”.

“ولكن في كرة القدم، النتائج تتغير وهذا هو الأهم، لذلك علينا أن نركز على مباراتنا في الأول من فبراير المقبل”.

هل تعانون من أي إصابات قبل الإعلان عن القائمة النهائية؟

– “جميع اللاعبين جاهزين، في حالة جيدة ومستعدين لكأس العالم للأندية، ربما هناك لاعب أو اثنين لديهما إصابة بسيطة ولكن لن تعوقهما عن البطولة”.

متى ستعلنون القائمة النهائية؟

– “ربما الأحد أو الإثنين المقبلين، قبل المغادرة إلى إسبانيا في 17 يناير، لا نعرف متى سنسافر إلى المغرب لأن القرعة (تقام غدًا) لم تحدد الملاعب بعد، ولكن ستكون قبل 6 أو 7 أيام من بداية البطولة وستكون هناك 3 مباريات ودية خلف الأبواب المغلقة في إسبانيا وندرس المنافسين في الوقت الحالي”.

Mike Hesson, the former Otago Volts and New Zealand A coach, has been appointed the new coach of the Kenyan team for a two-year term. Hesson, 36, will fill the position vacated by Eldine Baptiste, who had stepped down after Kenya’s poor 2011 World Cup campaign.Cricket Kenya had conducted a performance review after the World Cup and chief executive Tom Sears had said there would be an extensive recruitment process to find a new coach. The result of that search was Hesson, who has been involved with coaching in Otago since 1996.Kenya lost all six group matches during the World Cup and a complete shake-up of the team followed, with captain Jimmy Kamande being sacked and several senior players missing out on central contracts, in addition to Baptiste’s resignation. They then lost six out of nine matches in the ICC Africa Region Division One Twenty20, albeit with a very young side.Hesson joins Kenya after a six-year spell as coach of Otago Volts, during which the team won the State Shield, the domestic 50-over competition in 2007-08 and the State Twenty20 in 2008-09. Hesson also coached New Zealand A, the New Zealand Emerging Players squad and spent time with Gloucestershire as an assistant coach.His first assignment with Kenya will be to prepare the side for the upcoming Intercontinental Cup matches against United Arab Emirates that start on July 25 in Nairobi. Kenya will play UAE in two one-day matches and a four-day game.”Mike has an excellent record of developing players and successful teams, and throughout the selection process [he] demonstrated a real desire and clear vision to take our national team forward,” Sears said. “As well as being a highly-skilled technical coach, he is an excellent communicator, something crucial to the role.”Hesson said he was attracted to the job by the clear drive Cricket Kenya had to revive the national team after recent disappointments. “Having spoken with Cricket Kenya’s key stakeholders during the selection process I was stimulated by the passion shown to drive Kenyan cricket forward. I am very much looking forward to this exciting new opportunity and working with the undoubted talent there is within Kenya.”

ورد بيكيه: “لاهوز دائمًا ما يحب أن يكون بطل الرواية في أي مباراة”.

وكان لاهوز قد أدار مباراة الأرجنتين وهولندا في ربع نهائي كأس العالم 2022 في قطر وخرج ليونيل ميسي منتقدًا هذا الحكم بسبب قراراته في تلك المواجهة حيث أخرج 17 إنذارًا.

ولم يتوقف الحكم الإسباني عن إثارة الجدل بعد العودة من مونديال قطر عندما أدار الديربي بين برشلونة وإسبانيول في الدوري الإسباني وأخرج 15 إنذارًا وطردين وهو ما أثار حفيظة بيكيه وأجويرو.

وأتم بيكيه: “دائمًا ما يكون منحازًا في صف ريال مدريد، هناك انحياز من التحكيم دائمًا لهم في الدوري الإسباني، لقد قيل إنني تحدثت ببعض الكلمات في مباراة أوساسونا في بامبلونا، لكنني لم أقلها، سأقول من قالها عندما ينتهي الموسم الحالي”.

A change of venue brought a change of luck for Bangladesh as they picked up their first win of the tour, at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. It was their fifth win in seven completed matches at the ground, but their captain Shakib Al Hasan played down the role of the conditions, saying it was a good performance that brought the change in fortune.”I think this suits us more than the Harare ground,” Shakib said. “The wicket had some spin, enough for our bowlers to do something. I don’t think we always win here because it suits us; we played good cricket today. The spinners were steady and Rubel [Hossain] bowled brilliantly. Today all the three parts clicked, though we can still improve our game and be more consistent.”Bangladesh came into the ODI series as favourites, having dominated Zimbabwe in recent years – they had won the last six bilateral ODI series between the two countries before this one. Shakib admitted that now that they had lost the series there was less pressure, which helped, but pointed to the team’s lack of cricket in recent months as one of the main reasons for the 3-1 scoreline in favour of Zimbabwe.Before this tour Bangladesh had not played since April, and apart from Shakib, who played in the IPL and then for Worcestershire, and Tamim Iqbal, who played for Nottinghamshire in the Friends life T20, the rest of the Bangladesh players have not had much cricket since then.”There was individual pressure on players; plus we haven’t played competitive cricket for three months, except for me and Tamim,” Shakib said. “It was difficult to adjust for the others. Apart from [Brendan] Taylor, who was excellent, the rest of the batting was ordinary.”Zimbabwe were without their star bowler of this tour, Brian Vitori, in Bulawayo because of an injury, but Butcher said he could be back for the last game.”Vitori was having problems with his calf muscle during the last game in Harare so we decided it was better to rest him before it got worse. But we won’t play him if he’s not 100% fit.”Butcher said he was aware Bangladesh were improving as the series went on but said the defeat was more due to their own mistakes. “We saw in the last game in Harare that Bangladesh were improving, but we expected more of ourselves than what we produced today. We need to turn that around on Sunday.”
