سُحبت قبل قليل مراسم قرعة دور مجموعات مسابقة دوري المؤتمر الأوروبي للموسم الجديد 2022/2023، وأسفرت عن مواجهات في المتناول لبعض الأندية.

تم تقسيم 32 فريقًا على ثماني مجموعات، وتضم كل مجموعة أربعة أندية، يتأهل الأول والثاني منها إلى دور الـ16.

The diverse nations of Bahrain, Botswana, Malaysia, Guernsey, Norway and Singapore will compete for the two places to gain promotion to Division 5, which is due to be held in Nepal in February 2010.Former Test players Trevor Chappell and Mohsin Kamal are among the coaches who have high hopes for their teams, and elite umpire Simon Taufel will stand during the tournament. Chappell, the former Australia player, is coach of hosts and tournament favourites Singapore, and is positive about his team’s chances.”I think we’re fairly confident for this event, particularly since we’re the home side,” he said. “However, we can’t underestimate our opposition. We only really know Malaysia as a team, and we had a look at Guernsey during its warm-up match, but we’ve got to concentrate on our strengths, one of which is knowing the conditions for playing here in Singapore. We have a strong batting line-up and I feel our bowlers have the ability to do well here.”Bahrain, who won WCL Division 7, are also confident of success, and their coach, Kamal, has a good feeling ahead of the tournament.”We’ve had a good two and half months since winning the last event in Guernsey and we’ve come here with only two changes to the tournament-winning side from Division 7,” said Kamal, the former Pakistan bowler.”There are some good teams here, but we’re only aware of Guernsey who we played in Division 7 so all the other matches will be new to us, but we’re confident we can make the grade and win promotion to the next division.”The recent achievements of Afghanistan will be heights that these lesser-known cricketing nations can aspire to. وجهت جماهير الأهلي المتواجدة في مدرجات ملعب السلام بعض الرسائل للاعب الفريق وليد سليمان الذي قرر الاعتزال فور انتهاء الموسم.

الأهلي يواجه سيراميكا كليوباترا، الآن على أرضية ملعب “الأهلي وي السلام ضمن منافسات الجولة الأخيرة من الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وأفاد مراسل “بطولات” أن الجماهير هتفت لوليد سليمان قائلةً: “إللي باع وإللي خان إلا الحاوي وليد سليمان”.

New Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard admitted he is keen to work on the club’s defensive structure.

And a number of Villa fans have been reacting to his comments on social media.

Gerrard was officially appointed as Dean Smith’s replacement last Thursday but began work on Monday. He sat down with Villa’s official media team for his first interview, which is available to view in full here.

One snippet from that was shared on Twitter by @villareport, with Gerard keen to make some tweaks on Villa out of possession.

“One thing I’d like to instil & improve on is the structure of the team from a defensive point of view. Out of possession, our distances, our shape, & what we do to regain the ball is very important to me.”

Villa conceded 13 goals in Smith’s final five games in charge and have kept just three league clean sheets during the current campaign, and it seems as if Gerrard wants to make his new side hard to beat ahead of his first game against Brighton this weekend.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إسبانية، مدة غياب الدولي الفرنسي كريم بنزيما مهاجم ريال مدريد، بعد الإصابة التي تعرض لها أمام سيلتك الأسكتلندي أمس.

وتعرض بنزيما لإصابة أجبرته على مغادرة مباراة سيلتك مبكرًا في الدقيقة 30 وشارك إدين هازارد كبديل ليخضع اللاعب الفرنسي لفحوصات طبية.
