Crystal Palace have the chance to make amends for their pitiful showing against Arsenal earlier this month by beating relegation-threatened Sheffield United at Selhurst Park tonight.

The Eagles have struggled to score goals this season and currently have the third-worst haul in the Premier League, with the only thing saving them from relegation being the even worse sides below them.

This weakness is clearly worrying Roy Hodgson and Steve Parish, as the latest name touted for a move to south London has experience scoring goals in England and could help supercharge Eberechi Eze's creative output.

Palace look to the French Riviera for goals

According to the MailOnline, Crystal Palace are currently 'weighing up a late move' for Marseille's Senegalese versatile striker, Iliman Ndiaye to solve their goalscoring woes.

The 23-year-old only joined the French giants last summer after playing a crucial role in securing Sheffield United's return to the Premier League.

No transfer fee has been reliably reported yet, but Football Transfers Expected Value models price the Marseille fan at around £16m, which seems reasonable considering both his impressive form last season and his poor return this year.

However, even if he hasn't been at his best this year, the form from last year might be all the convincing Hodgson needs to push for this deal.

If the club can get this deal done, then it would be a brilliant end to the transfer window for Palace, as according to Fabrizio Romano, they are also closing in on Blackburn Rovers' talented midfielder Adam Wharton and look set to pay in excess of £20m for his signature.

Ndiaye could supercharge Eze

Now, as mentioned, the Senegalese international has been somewhat underwhelming for OM this season, scoring just one goal and providing two assists in ten Ligue 1 starts – although a goal and an assist in 63 minutes of AFCON action is encouraging – but last season he was a different animal.

In 3721 Championship minutes, the Rouen-born dynamo scored 14 goals and provided ten assists, meaning that he averaged a goal involvement every 155 minutes, or once every 1.72 games – a strike rate Palace could dearly use.

In all fairness to the "top-quality" forward, as journalist Josh Bunting described him, he hasn't been provided with too many chances this season, as Understat has given him an expected goals figure of just 2.40, so perhaps with more opportunities, he would rediscover the form he showed last season.

This is where Eze could come into the picture, as the former Queens Park Rangers sensation is one of the most talented players in the Palace squad, and were he playing alongside Ndiaye, he might be able to provide him with the chances he needs.

Ultimately, if Palace want to seriously distance themselves from the looming threat of a relegation battle, signing Ndiaye and utilising Eze's skillset to recreate the output he produced last season could be the perfect way to do it.

With Wharton already seemingly on his way to Selhurst Park, another exciting late addition would be a welcome one for the Eagles.

Lancashire new ball duo James Anderson and Graham Onions inflicted more misery on Worcestershire, who were bowled out for 98 on a rain-hit opening day in the Specsavers County Championship match at Blackfinch New Road.Anderson and Onions had been the destroyer in chiefs last month in reducing Worcestershire to 38 for 7 on the opening day of the match at Emirates Old Trafford, which Lancashire won by six wickets.It was the same story on Monday as Anderson, who took 4 for 24 off 14.1 overs, and Onions, who contributed 4 for 55 off 14, were largely responsible for the home side being skittled in just 38.1 overs with some top-class bowling.Saqib Mahmood, taking 2 for 8 off his eight overs, ensured there was no let-up in the current Division Two leaders’ dominance of proceedings after they had opted to bowl under leaden skies.Ed Barnard, who was promoted to No. 6, offered the most resistance with a defiant 32 as Worcestershire were dismissed for the second-lowest total in the Championship this summer. Only Nottinghamshire, with 97 against Warwickshire at Edgbaston last week, had been bowled out for a lower total during 2019.Worcestershire had rejigged their batting line-up with Tom Fell and George Rhodes left out of the side and Josh Dell brought back to open the innings. As you can see, his game against Wolves wasn't much better, other than the fact that he retained the ball much better.

Yet, from an out-of-possession perspective, he was being toyed with by the Wanderers' attackers, with one drop of the shoulder being enough to dribble past him with ease. The 31-year-old also lost eight of his 14 duels, which prevented United from retaining and regaining the ball.

Scott McTominay could make a difference against West Ham

Scott McTominay's future role as a Man United player seems to be that of either a super sub or a player to be brought into the starting XI with a certain mission, which will most likely be based on the opponent rather than Ten Hag's approach.

McTominay is a player who is happy to do the dirty work for his team, whether that be making selfless runs off the ball to create space for others or scrapping for the ball in the middle of the park, as shown by his tackle statistics.

Previous manager Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer also praised the 27-year-old for being a "physical monster," which will be important against the extremely tough and intense West Ham midfield.

The Norweigan also alluded to McTominay's ability to impact the game in the final third, and he's proved that this season by being United's top scorer in the league with six goals. This would help Ten Hag's team break down the stubborn Hammers, with his threat in the box being among the best in the league, as shown in the table above.

وقال عبد الواحد السيد في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “إم بي سي مصر2”: “عمرو أدهم بذل مجهودًا كبيرًا جدًا في ملف خالد بو طيب، وفوجئت بـ حسين لبيب تحدث معي بشأن موضوع بو طيب”.

وأكمل: “وصلت لوكيل اللاعب وقال لي إن بو طيب ليس لديه مشكلة مع الزمالك ويريد الحل وإنهاء الأزمة”.

وأوضح: “اللاعب طلب دفع الغرامة مرة واحدة، وفي النهاية دفعنا مليونًا والباقي سيتم تقسيطه على سنة وقربت المسافات بشكل سريع”.

وبسؤاله عن التجديد لزيزو؟، أجاب: “هو حالة خاصة والتجديد سيأتي من عنده هو، الزمالك (شاري) وزيزو الجماهير تريده، والأساس عند اللاعب، المجلس لم يتحدث معه في تفاصيل”.

وبسؤاله عن المشكلة التي حدثت مع أحمد سليمان؟، أجاب: “كان اختلاف في وجهات النظر هو مدربي ويوجد تعاون بيننا بعد الذي حدث وفتحنا صفحة جديدة”.

واستطرد: “أنا عذبت محمد عواد، وكنت غاضبًا منه في الفترة الأخيرة، عندما كنت خارج نادي الزمالك كنت أرى أنه مظلوم، ولكن عندما توليت المسؤولية شعرت في آخر شهرين أو ثلاثة أنه لم يكن في تركيزه، وفي واقعة حسام عبد المجيد ضغطت عليه بشكل قوي وهو أخطأ في هذه الواقعة”.

وواصل: “ضربت لاعبين وأنا ألعب وكنت مجنونًا رسميًا، وذات مرة ضربت حازم إمام الصغير”.

وزاد: “وقعت عقوبة على محمد عواد بعد واقعته مع حسام عبد المجيد، خصم 25% من عقده يعادل 4 ملايين جنيه، وألغيت جزءًا من الخصم عند التجديد له واستأذنت حسين لبيب قبل فعل ذلك، واستأذنت عبد المجيد قبل رفع الخصم عن محمد عواد، وأتمنى أن يجدد عبد الله السعيد عقده مع الزمالك”.

واختتم: “جلست مع سامسون أكينيولا وجلس مع عمرو أدهم ونحاول تسويقيه ويكون بالتراضي بيننا، واللائحة الجديدة للفريق لو لاعب لم يحصد بطولتين في الموسم سنخصم 20% من قيمة عقده”.

De acordo com a apuração da reportagem do LANCE!, a reunião foi considerada positiva e foi mais um passo de aproximação da Gaviões com a atual gestão, já que anteriormente a uniformizada já havia se encontrado com o presidente Duílio Monteiro Alves. O diálogo abre caminho para outras discussões e até mesmo para pacificar os bastidores do Alvinegro.

Ainda na noite da última quarta-feira, a organizada corintiana divulgou em seu site os planos que tem para ajudar o Corinthians a pagar a dívida da Neo Química Arena, que atualmente está na casa dos R$ 530 milhões junto a Caixa Econômica Federal. A torcida fala na comercialização de um produto para gerar receita ou na criação de um “vaquinha” virtual, além de estudar qualquer forma proposta ou pelo clube ou por torcedores interessados em auxiliar.

Da parte do clube, a uniformizada gostaria de “ter transparênciasobre o real valor da dívida da Arena, uma empresa independente para auditar e fiscalizar todo o processo, que o dinheiro seja direcionado para uma conta específica com a Caixa, ter uma página online de transparência dedicado para que todos os torcedores possam saber o status do projeto/ação e o acompanhamento e gestão por corintianos notáveis e reconhecidos em sua área de atuação”.

-Mesmo após muita repercussão em redes sociais e na imprensa, o assunto continuou sendo estudado por parte da comissão, que tem analisado as diversas ações que podem ser realizadas para que o clube consiga quitar a curto prazo a Arena – diz o comunicado da Gaviões.

Ainda que o Corinthians tenha visto com bons olhos a proposta da torcida, o que deve acontecer não é uma “vaquinha”, já que o clube prefere algo que gere uma contrapartida para o torcedor, uma recompensa para quem ajudar. Além disso, a “engenharia” para viabilizar o método da chamada “vaquinha” não é fácil e poderia envolver a Caixa, parte interessada no processo.

Dessa forma, a alternativa vista como mais viável é a de comercialização de produtos, além do desenvolvimento de trabalhos conjuntos de marketing em busca de geração de receitas de olho no pagamento exclusivo da dívida da Arena. Nada ainda está fechado e será discutido em outros encontros entre as partes. Fato é que as conversas avançaram e algo deve sair do papel.

Confira o comunicado divulgado pela Gaviões da Fiel:

“Em junho de 2020, foi levantada uma discussão entre os membros da comissão interna formada por sócios dos Gaviões da Fiel (a implementação da comissão foi feita com fundamento no artigo 16º, inciso IX, do estatuto da entidade) de que forma a Fiel Torcida poderia ajudar o clube a quitar a dívida do estádio, entre elas, os projetos que ficaram em evidência foram a “vaquinha virtual” e a comercialização de um produto específico que teria seu lucro destinado ao pagamento dessa dívida. Mesmo após muita repercussão em redes sociais e na imprensa, o assunto continuou sendo estudado por parte da comissão, que tem analisado as diversas ações que podem ser realizadas para que o clube consiga quitar a curto prazo a Arena.

Até o momento não há nenhum projeto estruturado e/ou formalizado por parte dos Gaviões da Fiel, pois ainda há muitas questões que precisam ser aprofundadas, como o contrato entre Corinthians x Caixa / Corinthians x Neo Química, entre outros fatores.

Por conta da pandemia, a comissão dos Gaviões não conseguiu se reunir com os responsáveis para ter acesso às informações necessárias para seguir com a construção do projeto. O que os Gaviões da Fiel têm discutido internamente são as premissas para que uma ação de grande proporção como essa possa acontecer na prática, como por exemplo:

– Ter o valor real da dívida da Arena oficializado;

– Ter uma empresa independente para auditar e fiscalizar todo o processo;

– Que o dinheiro seja direcionado para uma conta específica com a Caixa;

– Ter uma página online de transparência dedicado para que todos os torcedores possam acompanhar o status do projeto/ação;

– Acompanhamento e gestão do projeto por corinthianos notáveis e reconhecidos em sua área de atuação.

Ao longo dos últimos meses, temos buscado ouvir diversas fontes sobre o tema, entre elas, a nova diretoria do Clube, que após reunião realizada nesta semana, já se posicionou de forma positiva e aceitou participar de uma ação conjunta com a Torcida por meio de um projeto que seja viável ao que estamos buscando.

Por fim, gostaríamos de reafirmar que o projeto está direcionado no pagamento da dívida do estádio e não nas demais dívidas do clube – como foi noticiado pelos canais de imprensa.

Além disso, qualquer projeto que entendemos ser um caminho viável para ajudar o Clube a pagar a Arena, contará com o envolvimento e participação dos torcedores por meio de uma consulta pública, aprovação do Conselho Deliberativo da nossa entidade e demais envolvidos no processo.

E lembrem-se que continuaremos abertos para receber qualquer ideia construtiva seja de sócio ou não dos Gaviões da Fiel, pois o nosso maior objetivo é ver o Corinthians forte dentro e fora de campo”
